Tammy Einav Steps Down After 16 Years at Adam&eveDDB, Leaving Legacy as Cannes Lions European Agency of the Decade.Einav, who became joint CEO with Mat Goff in 2019 after the departure of founders James Murphy and David Golding, took on the sole CEO role in 2023. Murphy and Golding left to start New Commercial Arts.
Last year, Einav stepped back from her CEO role due to health issues but continued to oversee the agency. Helen Andrews from Wieden+Kennedy briefly held the CEO position before moving to Johannes Leonardo in New York. The current CEO of A&E London and Berlin is Miranda Hipwell, who previously served as a long-standing client head.
Reflecting on her time at the agency, Einav expressed, “Anyone who knows me understands how much I love this agency and the significant role it has played in my life. After 16 remarkable years working with the most brilliant people, it’s one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but I feel the time has come for something new and different, to challenge myself once more.”
She added, “From the moment I joined Adam & Eve (before the DDB merger in 2012), it felt like home. I’m fortunate to have been part of its amazing journey, and although I’m leaving, it will always hold a special place in my heart. I will watch with immense pride and joy as the agency continues to achieve great things in the future.”
